北极龙属

北极龙属（学名：Arctosaurus）是种已灭绝爬行动物，生活于三叠纪晚期的加拿大。
北极龙的化石只有一节颈椎，由于发现此化石的地方是在加拿大努那福特的Cameron岛，位于北极圈之内，所以其属名的意思为“北极蜥蜴”。
北极龙最初的分类未定，曾被归类于蜥脚形亚目、兽脚亚目。近年的研究发现，北极龙与兽脚亚目的相似处，可在其他三叠纪晚期的爬行动物上找到，最多只能确定北极龙属于主龙形类[1]。其他的研究人员则提出北极龙属于三棱龙目[2][3]。
