张信哲，有“情歌王子”之称。在大学歌唱比赛被发掘，签约滚石唱片的子公司巨石音乐，成功凭第一张专辑《说谎》一炮而红，一年内连续推出三张唱片，服役退伍后演唱《难以抗拒你容颜》依旧畅销。后来沉寂一年推出《心事》专辑，主打歌为李宗盛写的《爱如潮水》，成功将张信哲推上巅峰。
张信哲（英文名：Jeff Chang），台湾歌手，迄今为止唯一一位被整个华语乐坛公认的“情歌王子”。在20世纪90年代与叱咤华语乐坛的“四大天王”齐名，至今仍以前辈的身份与诸多后起之秀活跃在歌坛第一线，拥有无数铁杆粉丝，歌曲广受传唱。
