KOLOR是以 [[ 香港 ]] 作為基地的搖滾樂隊，R得到樂隊BEYOND成員黃家強賞識簽約，在2007年推出第一張唱片【COLOR】，獲得叱吒頒獎典禮的「樂壇組合新力軍銅獎」。在2009年推出第二張唱片【SURREALISM】，收錄作品《圍城》、《愛莫能助》等歌曲，獲得更多演出的機會。KOLOR在2010年8月推出第三張唱片【Independence】及首次個人演唱會「Independence Live」。其中《尋因果》及《半首歌》播放率高。在2010年12月21日在香港舉行「24K《24 味 + KOLOR》Concert」，在2011年主打歌曲 《愚公》進入香港電台中文歌曲龍虎榜冠軍，並推出第五張專輯【变】。在2011推出第六張唱片【大小事】，2011年於亞洲博覽館的「狂熱搖滾除夕倒數演唱會2012」，有超過一萬名觀眾。2012年，KOLOR年度推出的歌曲《天地會》在勁歌金曲奪得第二次冠軍<ref >{{Cite web |url = https://www.kkbox.com/hk/tc/artist/FX3SqtqraA6dTXL0F0CV008J-index-1.html| title = KOLOR | publisher =kkbox |accessdate = 2019 -09-30 }}</ref>。
