1997年他到美國尋求更多的演出機會，結果至今為止，他總共演出超過五十部以上的電影，包括知名美國獨立電影導演吉姆·賈木許（Jim Jarmusch）的電影《地球之夜》、《鬼狗殺手》、《咖啡與煙》及《極限控制》等。另外他也參與演出導演拉斯·馮·提爾（Lars von Trier）的電影《命運變奏曲》，2006年《007首部曲：皇家夜總會》他飾演恐怖分子首領史蒂芬·奧班諾（Steven Obanno），同年他也在電影《邁阿密風雲》裡飾演Neptune。2008年他在電影《Machetero》中飾演一名記者Jean Dumont，2013年，他飾演安德魯·多桑姆導演的電影《喬治的母親》中的Ayodele Balogun，該片於2013年聖丹斯電影節中進行首映，並被同年的馬里蘭電影節選為閉幕影片。此外在《神父有難》（Calvary），《獵巫行動：大滅絕》及漫威電影《黑豹》中都有他的演出。
