洛根航空（Loganair）是1962年成立的一家苏格兰地区性航空公司，是一家苏格兰航空公司，总部位于苏格兰佩斯利附近的格拉斯哥机场[1]，此外爱丁堡机场、印威内斯机场、邓迪机场和阿伯丁机场也是其枢纽机场[2]，被称为苏格兰航空公司，是英国乘客数量和机队规模最大的支线航空公司。除了格拉斯哥的主要基地外，在阿伯丁、爱丁堡、因弗内斯和纽卡斯尔机场设有枢纽[3]。

历史

早年

  • 洛根航空于1962 年2 月1 日由洛根建筑有限公司(Logan Construction Company Ltd) 的威利·洛根(Willie Logan) 成立，作为其包机部门，拥有一架位于爱丁堡的飞机，机型是Piper PA-23。
  • 1967 年，洛根航空接收了三架布里顿-诺曼BN-2岛民飞机( Britten-Norman Islander)双引擎八座轻型通勤客机，开始运营奥克尼群岛之间的定期航班，并于 1970 年开始在昔得兰(Shetland)运营。

  • 英国航空公司飞行员协会法庭(British Airline Pilots' Association，英文简称:BALPA)对 Loganair 在英伦航空关闭后迅速采取的行动进行了调查，发现该航空公司的行为合法，尽管该航空公司为英国东方航空公司和 Flybe 航空公司的倒闭制定了多项应急计划[9]。
  • 2020 年 3 月，Flybe 停止营运后，洛根航空宣布将接管 Flybe 的多条苏格兰和纽卡斯尔航线。

潜在销售

2022 年 10 月，洛根航空证实，现有唯一所有者史蒂芬（72 岁）和彼得邦德（61 岁）兄弟正在寻找买家，担任公司“下一代的托管人”。出售过程于 2023 年 10 月暂停，邦德兄弟保留其股份，同时机队更新计画完成[10]。
